Biography
Kira is a doctoral researcher in the Scientific Computing group at Universität Hamburg. She has finished her master's degree in computer science and begun her doctoral research in September 2017 when she started working as an employee in the DKRZ research group. As a student, she has been a teaching assistant for several years mainly for the lectures on high-performance computing and high-performance I/O. She has been working on user space file systems and data management issues throughout her studies.
