Konstantinos Chasapis
Biography
Konstantinos Chasapis obtained his MS. in Computer Science at the University of Crete in Greece. He received his B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the same University, ranking first for his year. He also received a state scholarship for his academic records (first in class) in the second year of B.Sc. studies. From July 2005 until May 2012 he was working as a student fellow at FORTH-ICS. Between October 2009 and February of 2012 he held External Laboratory Partner position with the Technological Educational Institute of Crete. His research interests include file systems, storage management and parallel architectures. In June 2012 he joined SCALUS project as an ESR at the University of Hamburg. From October 2013 he switched to the LSDMA project and also enrolled at the PhD program at the department of informatics of the University of Hamburg.
